Some Candy Talking EP
Originally released in 1986 in the wake of the landmark Psychocandy album, Some Candy Talking remains one of The Jesus And Mary Chain’s most iconic EPs. Blending fuzz-drenched guitars, hypnotic melodies and detached cool, the release captures the band at the height of their early creative surge.
This Record Store Day 2026 edition marks the first ever US pressing of the legendary EP, expanded into a 12" format. It includes all seven tracks from the original 1986 UK 2x7" release, along with a previously unreleased acoustic version of “Taste Of Cindy,” exclusive to this edition.
Housed in a faithful reproduction of the original black-and-white 12" artwork and complete with a full-colour, frameable insert featuring both new and classic artwork by Mel Butler, this RSD pressing is a must-have for fans of shoegaze, noise-pop and alternative rock history.
